BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Meetings are held on the 1st Mondays of the month at 12Noon in the Ministry Wing.
Couple to Couple Ministry
Couples Ministers are volunteer married couples who are selected by the parish staff and trained by the Diocese to assist in the preparation of engaged couples for marriage. The Couples Ministers meet several times with engaged couples in informal settings to discuss issues related to marriage. This ministry allows engaged couples to interact with couples already living the Sacrament of Marriage.
Healing Prayer Ministry
Healing Prayer teams, comprised of two people per team, are available for individual prayer, bi-monthly on the last Sunday of each month, at 10AM in the Ministry Wing, and at 12PM in church. It is a time when you can confidentially bring your concerns before the Lord and ask others to pray with and for you. For current schedule, please call the parish office.
HOLY HOUR WITH THE LORD (Prayers of Intercession)
On the second Wednesday each month at 7PM in church, we pray before the Blessed Sacrament for our parish community, our Diocese, our universal Catholic Church, and any special intentions submitted by parishioners. Everyone is invited to this Holy Hour. Personal intentions can be written in the prayer intentions book or written on a piece of paper and placed in the prayer box adjacent to t. Therese room; all intentions are kept confidential.
HOSPITAL, NURSING HOME AND HOME VISITS
Whenever there is a hospital admission, for you or a loved one, please inform the parish office so we can arrange for someone to visit, bring Holy Communion, a bulletin and pray with you for your recovery.
Ministry of Consolation
Certified by the Diocese of Cleveland, members of this ministry provide pastoral and spiritual support for all who mourn a loss through death in order to receive the healing comfort of God. Team members attend wakes, provide sympathy through cards, sponsor a yearly "Remembrance Mass", and offer monthly grief support sessions.
Ministry of Hope
This ministry is dedicated to providing assistance to the needy individuals and families in our parish boundaries, after verification of the need. This assistance may be food, payment towards utility bills, prescription co-pay or other necessities. Donations received from parishioners via Poor Box and Fifth Sunday Collections, enable the Ministry to continue to serve to the needy. Food drive weekend is the third weekend of each month.
Ministry of Praise and Mercy
The Ministry of Praise & Mercy is a genuine and simple way of keeping our homebound parishioners connected to the life and prayer of our parish. The group assists the staff members who visit the homebound by "adopting a shut-in" with the homebound person's permission. Our homebound parishioners or shut-ins become amassadors of prayer for the rest of the parish as they pray for the intentions the pastor requests. In turn, those who have adopted a shut-in offer support and prayer through cards and conversations. Meetings are occasional based on need.
Ministry of the Sick and Homebound
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion visit parishioners who are sick and homebound and bring Holy Communion to their
